We began in earnest last year, and today we bring additional testimony to bear witness to this nexus that impacts an alarmingly high number of children nationwide and at home. Our continuing conversation with the experts helps communities openly face and understand the difficulties within the foster care system that deeply affect the lives of the children moving through it; and the expert’s questions, ideas, possibilities, recommendations, and solutions, when enacted, will help turn this experience into a fulfilling one for all who take part.
